Corriere del Ticino

The Corriere del Ticino publishing company—renamed Centro Stampa Ticino SA in August 2010—was founded in Lugano in 1969 with the aim of providing the Corriere del Ticino Foundation with state-of-the-art technical equipment for printing its daily newspaper. Furthermore, it aimed to fully and efficiently exploit the available equipment commercially, expanding its operations to include other printing projects. The Center, which prints nearly all Ticino products, can produce at a speed of 48,000 copies per hour. The new fire prevention system consists of a fire detection and gas extinguishing system, while a video surveillance system covers the building’s internal and external common areas with IP technology and cameras up to 16 megapixels.
